The Content Repurposing System That 3xed My Visibility

What if I told you that a single video podcast episode has the ability to triple your visibility?
I know—it sounds a little wild. But this is exactly what I’ve been doing for the past year in my business. My website traffic is up by 138%, and I went full-time during this exact timeframe. And it all comes down to having a system.
Today, I want to teach you the repurposing system I use that allows one video podcast episode per week to power my blog, my email list, and even social media if I feel like it. (You already know I’m not obsessed with social media.) But truly—you can repurpose one piece of content into anything you need for your business.
If you had the opportunity to create one weekly content piece that fuels everything else, would you take it? I definitely would, because I want to reach people where they’re at… without doubling my effort to get there.
So if you relate to that, this is for you.
Welcome to my corner of the internet, where I teach you how to get real results from your self-produced podcast—without it consuming your life. My name is Liz Manuell. I’m a six-year photographer turned content strategist and producer, and I now run my business full-time producing podcasts for clients. Everything I learn gets passed directly to you.
Before we get into the system, I’m running something really exciting on December 1st: The Solo Podcast Producer Workshop. It’s the intro version of my upcoming program where I teach you how to produce your own podcast in just 10 hours a month—the same exact process I use myself. The link is below if you want to learn more.
Alright, let’s get into the repurposing system that 3xed my visibility.
First: Understand the Content Strategy Behind the System
Before you repurpose anything, you need to understand what each piece of content is supposed to do.
My strategy is built on a problem → solution storyline. Instead of traditional content pillars, I use problem pillars and solution pillars.
And yes—you really only need 1–3 solutions in your business. Most of us technically have one core solution, and we can get more granular if necessary, but not so granular that it confuses people.
Meanwhile, you’ll always have multiple granular problems your audience experiences, even if they all point to the same solution.
You want to reach people exactly where they’re at. So you break your monthly storyline into 4–5 content pieces. One piece per week. One clear path from problem → solution.
Those 4–5 pieces align with buyer stages:
Problem-Aware (first two pieces): Broader, relatable topics that catch attention.
Consideration (next two pieces): Where you shine your authority and demonstrate the “life after the solution.”
Conversion (final piece): One clear call to your offer.
This framework works because it’s rooted in real business strategy—not trends, not hacks. It’s evergreen because it follows how people make decisions.
Step One: Get a Transcript of Your Video Podcast Episode
You cannot repurpose effectively without a transcript. Period.
Whether you script your episodes or speak freely from bullet points (what I do and recommend), your transcript becomes the written version of your authentic voice. That authenticity is what makes repurposing seamless.
I use Descript for this because it records, edits, and transcribes all in one place. It’s $16/month for the Hobbyist plan and worth every penny. It’s about 98% accurate, it starts transcribing instantly, and you can upload or record directly inside the platform.
There are other tools out there, but as a business owner who values simplicity and speed, Descript wins every time.
Step Two: Use Authentic AI Prompts to Turn That Transcript Into a Blog + Email
Don’t skip these two channels:Your blog and your email list.
These are your highest-ROI, longest-lasting marketing assets.
Why email?
Email is where your warmest audience lives. They’re already invested in the value you provide. If they found you from YouTube (via a lead magnet or something similar), they’re even more likely to open your emails and watch your videos.
Email is also the absolute best place to sell. Period.
Why a blog?
Two reasons:
You don’t own social platforms. If YouTube disappeared tomorrow, your content would vanish with it.
Driving traffic to your site matters. When you send your email subscribers to your blog instead of directly to YouTube, you get website traffic first—and then they click out to your video.
This exact process is how I increased my site traffic by 140% in a year.
Step Three: Turn Your Blog Into Social Media Content (Not from the Transcript)
Here’s where most people get repurposing wrong:They try to turn the transcript directly into social content.
Instead, I recommend turning your blog into social posts. Why?
Because your blog already reflects your voice and organizes your key points visually. Each header or major talking point becomes a short-form content piece. If your blog has three key points, congratulations—you’ve got a week of social content ready to go.
And every single one of those posts should end with:
“If you want to learn the rest, watch the full video/read the full blog.”
Social media is your highest-reach, lowest-depth content. Short-form leads to long-form. Always.
How to Schedule Everything for Maximum Visibility
Here’s my timing system:
Post your YouTube video at 7:00 AM. This gives the video a full hour to accumulate natural views from YouTube's algorithm.
Send your email + publish your blog at 8:00 AM. This ensures your warmest audience is the first to see your new content. When they watch, like, and click through, YouTube gets all the right signals:“Hey, this video is bringing people back. Let’s push it out to more viewers like them.”
Sending your audience to your blog first also helps your website rankings, too.
When Do You Actually Do All of This?
This entire process takes about 30 minutes when you have strong prompts written for your voice.
I created a system with both a monthly schedule and a weekly schedule that includes “bonus days” or “bonus weeks” depending on what works best for your business. That bonus time is what I dedicate to repurposing, and it’s what I recommend for you, too.
If you want to see this entire system in action, last week’s video breaks down the exact prompts I use for my blog and email (they’re shown on screen).
And again—don’t forget the December 1st Solo Podcast Producer Workshop. I’m going to teach you how to self-produce your own video podcast in a way that’s simple, sustainable, and powerful enough to fuel your entire marketing strategy.
I can’t wait to show you what’s possible when your podcast becomes the engine of your business.
See you in the next one!
